Getting started
3 questionsWhat is Onbars?
Onbars is the community app for calisthenics and street workout — a map of real training parks, a training log built around bar movement instead of generic gym routines, and one score that reflects your physical level, your presence on the parks, and the skills your peers have actually verified.
Do I need to create an account to try it?
The web app opens in guest mode — no account needed to look around. You only need to sign up to log training, hold a park, or submit a certification.

4 questionsWhich street workout parks does Onbars cover right now?
Onbars is expanding across major European cities, but right now the focus is Madrid — every park is pulled from open map data, then verified and corrected by the athletes training there (equipment, condition, whether the spot even exists). One city goes deep before the next one opens.
What happens if a park on the map doesn't exist or isn't a real calisthenics spot?
You can report the park from its details screen. Scroll to the bottom and tap the "Report Park" button. Select the reason for the report and attach photos to support your claim. Once submitted, the report goes to a community vote on Onbars. If the votes are in your favor, the park will be removed from the map and you will earn points.
Open the web appMy usual spot isn't on the map — how do I add it?
Open the Map tab and add the park manually: pin the location, add bar/rings count and photos. It goes live right away and other athletes can then check in and correct it if anything is off.
Open the web appIs Onbars only about outdoor parks, or can I log training anywhere?
The map is specifically for outdoor street workout parks. Training itself isn't restricted to them — a Get to Work session can be run from Home or Park, so logging still works wherever you train. Territory, check-ins and meetups through the Social tab are tied to real mapped parks though.
Training & community
3 questionsHow do I find other calisthenics people to train with near me?
Two ways: the Map shows who's checked in at a park right now, so you can just show up where people are training. Or open the Social tab, follow athletes near your level, and propose a session — pick a park, a date, a time. It only turns into a real meetup once you both check in at the park.
Open the web appHow do training meetups work on Onbars?
From the Social tab, propose a session: pick an athlete, a park, a date and time. They accept, decline or counter-propose. On the day, both of you check in at the park — that check-in is what validates the meetup and unlocks the points, so a no-show earns nothing. Meetups are open to athletes 16 and up, and any profile can be blocked or reported.
Open the web appWhat does the AI Coach actually look at?
Every week it compares your last 7 days of logged sessions against the week before — muscle balance across push, pull, legs and core, training pace, and how much of your programmed rest you actually take. It returns concrete recommendations based on your real numbers, not generic motivation. It reads your training, it doesn't replace a coach or medical advice.

2 questionsHow is the Onbars Score calculated?
S = (0.6 × Physical) + (0.2 × Social) + (0.2 × Interaction). Physical grades your pull-ups, dips and push-ups by level (max 950 pts). Social rewards visiting real parks (5 pts per unique park, up to 40). Interaction comes from certifications and peer-voted skill badges. Nothing in the formula is bought.
Do the four tiers mean Onbars is only for advanced athletes?
No. The four tiers (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Elite) exist so beginners have their own ladder to climb instead of being compared to elite athletes on day one. Logging, the park map, and workout tracking are useful at any level.
Certification & badges
2 questionsWhat's the difference between a certification and a skill badge?
Certifications validate your stats: you upload one video per exercise (pull-ups, dips, push-ups), and an AI pass checks your rep count against what you claimed. Skill badges reward mastery of a specific move — front lever, planche, muscle-up and others — proven by filming the skill and having Advanced and Elite athletes vote on it. Different proof, different reward.
How does skill certification work — can I fake a badge?
No cash, no self-rating. You film the skill, an AI pass checks the movement is real, then Advanced and Elite athletes vote to approve or reject it. A badge mints only above 60% approval with at least 10 votes — so it is verified by people who can actually do the movement.
